When you're in love you don't get hungry for food, but when in Salzburg you should take a moment to enjoy some of the delectable delights which will make your mouth water.
After a day of shopping, sightseeing, or just long walks there is no better way to begin the evening than to enjoy a romantic meal. Here are a couple of tips for that special evening.
s’Herzl
Meaning the 'Heart', meals are prepared here from the heart for the heart. S’Herzl is part of the Goldenen Hirsch Hotel and serves first class cuisine from the traditional Salzburg kitchen.
Restaurant s’Herzl is on the Herbert-von-Karajan-Platz.
Cafe Schatz
Meaning 'Treasure', one should enjoy a coffee here with their own treasured loved one! Almost hidden in the Schatz Arcade is a 'doll's house' style Cafe with no more than ten tables and waitresses in white aprons. One of the few places where smoking is not allowed but kissing is.
Shrimps Bar
Now for something a little different - mediterranean cuisine in the middle of the mountains, that's the Shrimps Bar. Small and romantic, but plenty of seafood. Located in the Steingasse and only 5 mins. from the hotel.
