Getreidegasse and its passages.

Originally used for quicker access to the river, today the passages house many small businesses, e.g. the Schmuck Passage or the Schatz Passage. The Getreidegasse is Salzburg's 'Rodeo Drive' of the shopping world housing many exclusive brands like Louis Vuitton, Prada, Swarovksi or Gucci.

Goldgasse.

The Goldgasse leads you to the Residenzplatz from the Judengasse and it honors its name. There are many gold and jewellry stores as well as antique shops.

Münzgasse and Griesgasse.

Clothes, shoes, bags - everthing your heart desires. Apart from the trendy stores like Rieger or Penny Lane you will also find boutiques with great specials, such as the leathergoods shop Alpha in the Ava-Haus shopping arcade.

Linzergasse.

This shopping street is just as modern but not so busy. Not only boutiques and an entire row of shoe shops but this street also has music and stationery shops as well as shops selling traditional gingerbreads, candles and wax figurines.

• Nagy, Linzergasse: wax figurines, candles of all shapes & sizes, delicious gingerbread in all forms & colours, and sweet honey scents!
• Hemden Babitsch, Wolf-Dietrich-Straße: specializing in tailor made shirts.
• Haderer Maßschuhe, Pfeiffergasse: one of the last cobblers still making shoes - and not only for Salzburg's Mayor!
